The Rose & Crown garden is of a nice size, and is located adjacent to the pub car park. There are about 12 bench-style tables, all of which have parosols fitted in the summer. The swings are popular with children (adult supervision required), with 3 regular type and two baby swings provided. Food is served in the garden, both the bar menu and al a carte menus as required. Order your food at the bar and then wait at your garden table for your meals to be brought to your table.

Behind the garden and pub is a large field which is often home to two llamas or some horses. These often come up to the fence to say hello and look for a carrot. The horses are very friendly.

The llamas are a somewhat unusual attraction when they are in the field, with children all wanting a closer look. One youngster overheard asked where the white one's 'other head' was (Dr Doolittle)!! The llamas are usually around in the summer.

You are welcome to eat your food in the garden. Just order at the bar and take a seat and relax.

Make a choice from the wonderful menu and enjoy your meal in the tranquil setting of the R & C garden.

The Rose & Crown garden is popular with families, especially in the summer when dining outside obviously becomes more bearable in the British weather. We welcome dogs in the garden but do please remember there is food served so keep an eye on your hound! (and bring a 'doggy bag' in case of an accident!).
